The cost of skip hire depends on the size of the skip bin you hire. We do not provide prices online, however happy to give you a price over the phone. We pride ourselves on being price competitive and affordable.

Yes our skip bins are absolutely suitable to commercial and constructions sites. We cater to tradies, builders, renovators, and can assist with skip bin types suitable for heavier waste.

You can only fill the skip bin so it is level across the top, overfilling the bin is a hazard for our staff and other road users when transporting the load. Please ensure that you have filled the bin correctly as you may be required to remove items to make the load safe. If the bin is over height charges may apply.

General rubbish which consists of household rubbish green waste and general clean around the house. Bricks, Dirt and Concrete are able to be disposed of but charges are higher.

Please avoid adding the following items into the skip bin as additional charges may apply to dispose of these items correctly.

• Asbestos
• Tyre’s
• Mattresses
• Oil
• Paint or paint products
• Herbicides and pesticides
• Explosives
• Gas cylinders
• Medical waste

If you place prohibited waste into the skip bin additional charges may be incurred to safely dispose of these items.

Bins are usually 7 days unless other arrangements are made during booking.

Commercial bins may be kept for the duration of the project.

We accept cash, cheque, credit card & direct credit. We have an EFTPOS machine to make payment convenient.

Please do not try to move the bin from its drop position as you may damage the bins structure. Our staff will endeavour to place the bin in the location you requested. Any damage to the bin will incur an additional charge.

In Victoria, a permit is generally required to place a skip bin on Council land, such as a road, footpath, or nature strip. However, if the skip bin is placed entirely on private property, like your driveway or yard, a permit is not usually needed. 

Clarify whether presence is required or if you can deliver/pick up unattended.

Yes, we do same-day delivery if bookings are made before Xam from Monday to Friday, or before Yam on Saturdays. We do not work on Sunday.

We take all skip waste material to the Sunbury Tip, where they have best practice recycling processes in place. Ring-A-Bin Sunbury is happy to be doing its bit to contribute to responsible recycling of wood, metal, electronics, whitegoods, etc.

All bookings can be cancelled if we are given 24 hours of notice. If 24 hours of notice is not provided, we will charge you 50% of the skip bin hire fee.
